The Hunt is Part of the Fun!

Girard Avenue designer Pam Taunton recently visited New Zealand! Girard girls scour the world to find the very best for our customers.

Taunton discovered these “Possum Fur” Pillows in New Zealand.  Possums there are cuter than the ones in the US, but are considered an environmental pest. So they are making throws, pillows & clothing with their fur as well as combining it with Merino wool for all sorts of clothing! The fur is said to be very warm!
